Tired of dealing with traffic congestion and high volume of wildly driven trucks on Mombasa highway? No problem! We can get you to Amboseli National Park seamlessly and leisurely with Madaraka express.
Day 1 – Get yourself to SGR train station in Nairobi and hop into Madaraka express to Emali train station. Travel time is approximately 2 hours. This is an exciting ride starting from buzzing city of Nairobi, traversing extensive Kenya’s landscape into the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Our driver will pick you up from Emali train station. The ride from Emali terminus to Maasai Simba Camp is only 30 minutes. Check into your room and head out to the park for afternoon game drive. Our driver will come with pack lunch served on top of observation hill with a view of elephants and hippos below against the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. A moment poised in the Amboseli landscape. Resume game drive after lunch and return to Maasai Simba Camp before dusk. Take a much-needed hot shower and slowly stroll into Oloip house, a cozy common guest room for a glass of wine or cold tusker beer or a cup of tea before a scrumptious dinner.
