The guide will adjust the walk to meet your pace. This is your first encounter with wildlife on foot. See, feel, smell the bush like the bushman. Your guide will show you how to identifying animal footprint, different types of animal bones, animal droppings, and many other wild treasures found in this unspoiled landscape. Return to the camp before dusk in time for dinner.

On this first day you will have the option of visiting a tribal village instead of walking safari.

Day 2 – Leve camp by 6:30am for another beautiful bush walking safari. Maasai Simba Camp is in a wildlife corridor between Amboseli and Chyulu Hills National Parks. This is unspoiled Countryside where man and wildlife intermingled in harmony for generations.

After breakfast we’ll emerge ourselves into several activities that include a visit with Maasai village elders and the women cooperative. Meet a Maasai herbalist and learn about medicinal plants. A visit with the women cooperative gives you an opportunity to learn about Maasai traditions, customs, and culture. Also, this would be your opportunity to make beautiful beadwork often identified with the Maasai of East Africa. Your visits with Maasai village elders, women cooperative, herbalists, teachers will allow you to learn just about every aspect of the Maasai life.

Day 3 – Shortly after an early breakfast we will drive to Amboseli National Park at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa standing 19,340 feet above sea level. We should be in the park by 7:00am in time for morning game drive.

In addition to over 1,000 elephants there are plenty of other animals such as zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, impala, leopards, lions, hippos, antelope, warthogs, hyenas, cheetah, and buffalos, all gather in the haven of the park. Our driver was born and raised around Amboseli. He knows the park better and he will do everything to deliver the best game drive for you. Sit back and focus on having the best game drive. Make sure to bring your fully charged camera and plan to take lots of beautiful pictures.

A full lunch will be served on top observation hill looking at the elephants and hippos grazing below. Resume game drive in the afternoon and return to Maasai Simba Camp before dusk.
