The rangers family tent sits on stilts near the banks of the Kiboko River. Featuring a river view, a covered porch, a hammock, and a welcoming interior. The Warden Tent is among our popular rooms with a large veranda and river view. This lovely unit has a queen size bed, mosquito net, en-suite bathroom with free toiletries. The Warden tent is ideal for a couple wanting to have a private and memorable time in the wildeness. Upon request a private candlelight dinner and wine can be served right outside its sandy porch. Leopard room in the Warriors’ house is ideal for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). The family room features a queen-size bed, a bunk bed, ceiling fan, and mosquito nets. The room is self-contained with en suite bathroom and free toiletries.
Elephant bedroom in the warriors’ house has a king size bed, ceiling fan, private bathroom, and free toiletries.
These newly custom-built charming rooms are made with Adobe bricks and furnished with lovingly crafted woodwork mostly from reclaimed timber.

Outside, the rooms features a beautiful porch under the canopy of indigenous acacia trees. Guest can sit back and enjoy entertainment from hundreds of birds and velvet monkeys that lives here all year around. Also, the warriors' house has a beautiful covered gazebo, a perfect place to unwind after a long day of outdoor activities in the bush or after returning from a long day safari in Amboseli National Park.

We offer 4 one-bedroom rock cabins which are like your own private beach cabin. The cabins offer a secluded ambiance for some deep relaxation. These recently refurbished rustic yet charming rock cabins are nestled deep in the old growth acacia forest on the banks of a seasonal Kiboko river. The Chief's cabin is the only self-catering cabin in the camp. The Chief cabin features a full kitchen where guests will find everything they need to prepare meals for themselves throughout their stay. The Chief Cabin features a modern kitchen with a sink, a mini fridge, a cooking stove, pans, pots and kettle, mugs, plates, cups, cutlery, hand towels, dish soap, salt, paper, etc. The kitchen has awesome views of Mother Nature and a secluded setting next to a seasonal river. Simba restaurant is a family style dining room that offers African, Asian, European, and American cuisine to suit all tastes. Our meals are fresh and organic. Vegetarians are accomodated respectifully. We also accommodate clients with allergies to specific food items such as gluten.

Are you bringing your kids along? No problem we have a wonderful adventure family fun corner with tire swings, wood swings, chair swings, dirts, archery, and more. Parents relax in a hammock and let your kids swing and leap in a very safe play ground.

The camp is a symphony of African birds. The songs of weavers, go-away-birds, starlings, African hoopoe, the franklins, lilac-breasted roller, woodland king fisher, red and yellow barbet, and woodpeckers filled the air, all under the canopy of indigenous acacia trees. There’s no better place to see African birds than right here at Maasai Simba Camp.
Security is our top priority. There will be Maasai warriors on site 24 hours a day. All the animals of the African savanna know and respect the warriors. Warriors will accompany you during all nature walks and on Safari. This would be the safest place you can be in Africa.
